Water Network System Project: Phase 1 Update

We are excited to announce the commencement of Phase 1 of our Water Network System project. This project will be completed in multiple phases, with Phase 1 focusing on the restoration of water supply to phases 5, 6, and 7.

Phase 1 involves several key tasks, including the replacement of membranes for the large tanks that serve phases 5, 6, and 7. Additionally, we will be replacing the blue inlet pipe from the intermediary tank and installing a solar pump to facilitate the pumping of water up to the large tank in phase 7. Furthermore, we will reinstate missing white outlet pipes and fittings to enable the restoration of water supply to these three phases.

We are pleased to share that the proposed go-live date for Phase 1 of the restoration project is set for Autumn 2024. This timeline reflects our commitment to providing reliable and efficient water supply to our residents at Culloden by the Sea. As we progress through the project, we will continue to provide updates on our milestones and progress towards achieving our goal. Thank you for your support and patience as we work towards enhancing our community infrastructure.

Communication Strategy

At Culloden by the Sea, our communication strategy aims to foster strong connections and keep our community members informed and engaged. We encourage all members to visit our website and complete our questionnaire, providing essential personal details such as:

  • Full name
  • Estate lot number
  • Estate lot address
  • Estate phase number
  • Jamaica fixed-line number
  • Jamaica mobile number
  • Overseas home address
  • Overseas fixed-line number
  • Overseas mobile number
  • Email address

With this information, we can effectively communicate with all members and keep them updated on estate developments and activities. Additionally, we are in the process of developing a community website with an eCommerce feature and payment portal. This platform will enable members to conveniently pay subscriptions, purchase event tickets, and advertise properties for sale or rent.

Despite these efforts, only approximately 30% of members have subscribed to our communication system. We urge all members to participate in our communication drive to ensure everyone remains informed and connected within our vibrant community.

Digital Transformation Project

We are excited to announce that we are currently in the process of rolling out our digital transformation project at Culloden by the Sea. This initiative includes several key steps aimed at embracing digitalisation and streamlining our processes:

  • Opening a bank account for our newly formed HOA.
  • Setting up a PayPal account, which will serve as our digital gateway payment platform.
  • Integrating PayPal with our systems to facilitate online payments and receipts.
  • Implementing automated system (GL) for payment reconciliation and invoice generation.
  • Transitioning away from manual processes, such as Excel spreadsheets, towards more efficient digital solutions.

By embracing digital transformation, we aim to enhance our operational efficiency and provide our members with a more convenient and seamless experience. We are on target to meet our proposed go-live date in the second quarter of 2024, and we look forward to the positive impact this initiative will have on our community.
